I had to take a picture of the Michigan milk price when I was home for Christmas.
Out here in Pennsylvania, the state has mandated minimum milk prices. The price for our area is around $3.50 per gallon.
Michigan is within the top five milk-producing states, and dairy farms have become so efficient the past 20 years the market is overloaded with milk. How's that for some practical economics?!
