This amaryllis bulb was the best $6 investment I made in December.

Divine Disruption

first book of 2022

I recently read, er, cried through the book Divine Disruption, written by the Evans family. 

Tony and his four adult children wrote and read the book/audiobook together (in 2021), partially as a tribute to their amazing wife/mother (Lois), and mostly as a testimony of God's sufficient grace for each of them individually and collectively, specifically during the years of 2018-2020 as their family faced trauma after tragedy in numerous ways. 

If reading a testimony of God's provision for and care over a godly family through days of grief and loss would encourage your heart, I'd recommend this read for you.

 

Plant Date

The houseplants have been looking neglected-- sort of like their vibrant green lives had been stuffed into pots and left to reach for tiny rays of sunlight from drafty corners of the apartment... in the dead of winter.

Hopefully they feel happier and more loved after Saturday morning's date: 

fresh soil and leaf-cuts all 'round.
