On a recent trip home from visiting a BIC church, we passed nine of these over-sized (er, abnormal/e) loads...
plus the normal miscellaneous semis and buses.
Road travel in Zambia is an Adventure--
More of an adventure than I prefer considering that all too often Zambian road travel includes horrific accidents. Burned out vehicles left to rust along the road sides serve as reminders of the daily risks in road travel. It's unusual to travel to and from Lusaka or Livingstone without encountering at least one recent bad wreck, typically involving at least one semi. I'm privileged to know my life-- including every Zambian road trip-- is in the Father's hands.
I'm thankful also to know your life is in such capable and loving hands. His is watching over you.
